The nave of a cathedral in Old Geneva. In it were the expected relics, including a chair reputed to have accomodated the heavy side of Martin Luther. It was dark and raining outside, and it seemed either a marvel of architecture or of some sublime mystery that the windows were a degree brighter than the day.
